Fanny Crown – Fashion Blog Competition – Debs dress

Hey Guys,
Since the summer seems to be flying in there’s only one thing left to look forward to (other than Christmas), debs season! For most of us the first time we get to wear a full length dress and understand how Kate Middleton feels. The search for the perfect dress is almost as stressful and intense as planning a wedding and the worries that someone else will show up in the same dress has been disturbing our sleep since we were 5 years old.

You can all stop fretting now though because I have the perfect solution for you all…. http://www.fannycrown.com/
They have every sort of dress you could possibly want, from wedding to cocktail. I spent hours deciding which of their debs dresses was my favourite as there were so many to choose from! I eventually decided on this stunning cream lace dress.

I chose this dress because it stuck out to me when I first started looking on Fanny Crown, I looked at other dresses but kept going back to this one so I knew it was for me! I also love lace at the moment, it’s such a detailed and unique dress which was important to me as I hate the typical debs dress style everyone seems to turn up in. I love elegant and sophisticated dresses rather than tight and revealing. The flattering style of the dress suits my body type which is also important of course!

I would add a silver sparkly clutch and sandals to match the stunning embellishment on the lace. I chose these heeled sandals from Aldo, they compliment the sophisticated look I’m going for! I decided on this sparkly princess-like clutch as it matches the shoes and the lace embellishment also.

If I were to do my own makeup I would without a doubt use my favourite Naked Palette to create a smokey eye look. I would go for a natural but contoured face and finish the look with a light pink/nude lip from MAC.
Although a lot of people wear their hair in a sophisticated upstyle, I prefer my hair down. I would opt for loose curls and a middle parting. I would add a tikka as I think they are stunning, so unusual and the sparkles are perfect for this look.

This is my entry to a style competition with Fanny Crown, any other blogger can also enter! If you want to try it out all details can be found here on their website: http://www.fannycrown.com/blogger-contest
