Baby B Browne Tan – Review👙

Hi girls!

I only recently came accross BabyBBrowne, they were kind enough to send me some to try!

Baby B Browne is ‘an easy to apply, long-lasting, non-sticky and streak free self-tanning range that cares for your skin by using premium high-grade ingredients. The products are formulated to react with each individual’s skin pigment, giving a natural looking tan specific to you.’

Their self tanning lotion has moisturising so it leaves your skin feeling so smooth! It also has a really nice smell when applying!
Baby B Browne only comes in one colour – Medium! This is because it is intended to react with different skin pigments. I haven’t heard of any other tan doing this! It’s so unique and in my opinion it suited my skin tone very well! It looked like my skin when I have a real tan so it’s definitely a thumbs up from me!

I’m sure you’re all well used to applying your own tan but here’s how I applied it, maybe you’ll get a few tips from it!

  1. Prep: I exfoliated and shaved the day before.

    2.  Application: moisturised dry areas eg. Knees

  • Used tanning mitt to apply evenly. The tan is dark brown so you can see exactly where you’ve applied it! It’s quite thick as it’s a lotion but still very smooth to apply.
  • It dried quite quickly

3. How it Developed:

Loved the how it developed! I was very dark next morning! It washed off lighter and completely even, such a natural colour!

You can buy BabyBBrowne from their website –! They have free delivery and their self tanning lotion is reduced to £9.95 at the moment!

Wow Brown Tan Review👙

I’m a huge fake tan lover so I’m always looking for the next best thing!  I’ve wanted to try Wow Brown for a good while but haven’t got around to it. So, when I saw their stand at the Beauty Show I decided I’d give it a go. I went for their dark liquid.

I exfoliated and applied moisturizer to my knees, elbows and ankles before applying the tan with a tanning mitt.

It was very easy to apply as it is a dark brown shade so you can see where you are applying it to.

It dried very quickly which I loved because I can’t stand the sticky feeling of tan.

The box says to leave on for at least 5 hours so I just applied it before bed and washed it off the next morning!

Colour – Loved the colour, it was a lovely golden brown. However, I think I could have done with a second layer on my legs and neck as they washed off a bit lighter than the rest of my body.

Smell – The smell after it had developed wasn’t bad at all which I was impressed with! It was definitely a lot more bearable than other fake tans.

Fade – It faded quite quickly. After one shower it had began to fade and not that evenly. I had to scrub it off after a few days because it was quite scaly. I probably could have moisturized more to have helped this.

Price: 20

I think it’s quite overpriced as the bottle is very small, only 100ml.

Hope this helped any of you who were thinking of trying Wow Brown,

Vita Liberata NKD SKN

Hi guys,

Vita Liberata kindly sent me some tan from their newest collection, NKD SKN. It’s quick and easy to apply and offers an instant bronze with no smell or streaking.

Their NKD SKN collection includes five tanning products which promise the most natural tan.

I tried their tinted liquid tan in dark and their tinted tan mousse in medium.

Tan Liquid – Dark & Tan Mousse – Medium:

Liquid: 75ml –  12.00          Mousse: 100ml – 15.00

I exfoliated well the day before hand. To do this I used exfoliating gloves, shower gel and body scrub. I Shaved my legs the day before.

How I applied it:
I had nothing on my skin beforehand, no moisturisers etc except for on the dry patches- elbows, knees and ankles.

I used my Vita Liberata tanning mitts. I started on my legs and worked my way up. Both were quite easy and smooth to apply. They are both brown in colour so it was easy to see where I was applying the tan.

It dried quite quickly and I got dressed about 5 mins after ( into loose clothing).

I washed it off the next day.

How it developed:

Liquid tan (dark) – Quite dark, it then turned into a golden brown when washed off.

Mousse (Medium) – Brown,  A natural golden brown shade when washed off.

Both tans were very even and extremely natural looking! I was very happy with both results. I think i’d slightly prefer the mousse though just because I always seem to go for a mousse I find them less messy than liquid tans.

Vita Liberata also have Matte instant wash off tan in medium and dark

100ml – €9.50

bBold Tan Lotion – Dark 👙

Hi guys,

When it comes to my skin i’m lucky that in the summer i’m quite tanned but I find that by September i’m back to a milk bottle.

I think a tan makes a huge difference so I nearly always have some kind of tan on for Autumn/Winter.

Being tangoed though is much worse than being pasty white so that’s not a look we’re going for either. This unfortunately is so easy to do as a lot of tans come up wrong.

I exfoliated well the day before hand. To do this I used exfoliating gloves, shower gel and body scrub. Shaved my legs the day before.

How I applied it:
I had nothing on my skin beforehand, no moisturisers etc except for on the dry patches- elbows, knees and ankles.
I used my bBold tanning mitt. I started on my legs and worked my way up, I then applied a second layer to my legs as they never seem to end up as dark as the rest of my body.
It was easy to apply as it was quite thick and dark in colour so I could see where I was applying it clearly.
It dried pretty quickly and I got dressed about 5 mins after ( into loose clothing).
I then went to bed and rinsed it off the next morning.

How it developed:
I woke up to find myself a dark brown.
I lightly rinsed it off, I was delighted with the golden brown it turned out as sometimes I find tan looks fab the next morning and then after washing it off i’m back to my natural skin tone nearly.
I was really happy with the results, It was stunning natural golden brown.
It was so even, there were no streaks.

It’s very important to moisturise every day after applying to maintain your tan the best you can, bBold is ment to last up to 7 days. So far I have had mine on for 5 days and it’s still perfect.

It’s enriched with aloe vera, cocoa butter and vitamin E.

bBold can be bought in Boots and most pharmacies such as McCabes pharmacy.

bBold Flawless Legs:

I also tried bBold’s Flawless Legs.
It’s instant tan but it’s water resistant which is v handy for our weather!

It’s very smooth and easy to apply. It also has a nice smell! It’s leg makeup so it also covers imperfections such as veins to give an even skin tone and flawless legs.

It’s easy to remove too, you just use soap and warm water.

Have you tried bBold? What did you think of it?
What else do you recommend? I’d be interested to hear.
